RV sites built in 2020. Large back in level sites. Full hookup. New bath house also. Some day sites will be in a forest but not now. Few pine trees are seeding the areas between sites. In three years the trees have grown to 3-4 ft. Nice trails and water access. Only negative was my sewer port was a little high. My rigs dump connection is low. Pulled over to the handicap site and dumped.

Site 52 was next to the creek with a great background noise. Sites are large. Pet and family friendly.

Another great stay. Campsite by the creek. Was able to sit in the shade and listen to the water. Good weather and nice hike on the Stone Mountain loop.

Plenty of room for the big rigs. Very quiet.

Wooded sites, clean restrooms, hot showers, and dog friendly.
Nice hiking trails around lake with a beach and boat rental.

Camp sites at 4,200 ft. Cool nights and not so hot days.

The sites are a bit close. Had great weather and it was very interesting watching the tide change.

One very big negative is the no see um. The screens in our coach would not stop them and we had quite a few bites. The weather in late December was perfect for sleeping with the windows open but need tighter screen mesh.

The hiking trails are very interesting. A lot of wild life, old trees and swamps.

Camp sites are very close to each other. They should thin out the sites and expand the area.

The bath house in the center is old and should be replaced. The bath house on the perimeter is new and very clean.

Had a fantastic water front site with a small beach and wonderful view of the sunset.

Would stay again but...
Pros:
Great beach access and great South Carolina beach. It's a natural wild island surrounded by the developed areas of MB.
Clean bath house with HOT showers.
Stay in Feb. therefore no bugs.
Big lots for rigs and towed.

Cons:
Site are close to each other.
In the flight path of airport. But appears no flights at night.
Woods are hit or miss. Some areas are dence with swamps.
