Plan on spending a few hour's here and make sure your camera batteries are good because this place is amazing. The mountain skyline is breath taking.
excellent camp site. Amazing shower's/restrooms, hot tub's. They provide a ride down to the historic mining city where there is great food and shops.
Good open camping. Not much for shade, but within walking distance of gift shops, resturaunts, general store, grand canyon's IMAX theatre. The only downfall was there are not firepits at every camp site.
The camping was a perfect view of the Crazy Horse light show. If you are into rodeo's/rodeo clown's, they have a museum-like section that would interest you, but their gift shop/bar is more like slim pickings through an antique shop.
