Easy to get to right off the highway. Paid our 10 dollar and then found out that you can only dump here. There is no potable water to fill your tanks. We asked inside to be sure, and they confirmed.

Easy to get to and check-in. Just grab a spot and go to the desk in the casino. Gravel sites do require minor leveling. Electric hookups and wifi. Dump and fill station on site. Quiet, safe, large convenience store nearby. Nothing fancy but for works for what we needed.

Pulled in and all seemed fine. My husband took the dog out and there was a lady knocking on doors telling people no overnights. She never came to our trailer but we didn’t stick around waiting for a knock.

There was no potable water at this site. Propane is available but they did not have an authorized employee available. Easy to get to right off the highway, but if you are just going for propane, you may want to call ahead.

There are very few options on this side of Phoenix. This worked well for us especially since Lost Dutchman is not allowing d/f unless you stay. Our friends went to the local KOA and were charged $40 for a dump and fill. $10 at Chevron with a gas purchase or $15 without. Easy access and they also sell propane.

We arrived on a Monday and the ranger set us up in a great spot in the Hackberry camp area. It was a nice wooded site that backed to the river and a trail. We have around 2 dozen turkey behind us that would roam around the campground in the morning. We also saw quite a few deer on the trails and in the campground.

Cell service is very limited through the park and intermittent at best. We went into the town of Canyon to the Palace coffee shop to work and use their WiFi - highly recommend!

Water and electric. No sewer at the campsite but a dump station just outside of the campground loop.

Bathrooms were older but clean and warm. My daughter used the shower once and it was hot with plenty of water.

Vert quiet during the week but really started to fill up on Friday evening.

We used this as a base to explore Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Tent rocks is close by and a must see. There was no park host or ranger (that I saw) and no one at the gate so we found a spot and deposited our money in the box. The campground closes on 11/30 so I assume since they were slow, that is why no one was on site. The bathrooms were clean, the campsite is clean and well maintained and all the sites are pretty large and some have great views of the lake.

There is a small convenience store and a laundromat nearby but other than that, it’s at least a 15-20 min drive to gas, propane, and groceries so come prepared.

We were visiting family so this was a good location for us for a couple of nights. After several days of boondocking we splurged with on of the Gold sites. (our price was actually 10 percent less than what I listed with our Good Sam discount).
-The campground is very well kept, pads are level and there is a nice view of the marina.
-It was a pretty view and a large site but the trees are not mature so there is no privacy between sites.
-The laundry room on our end only had one washer and dryer (we found out later the other laundry room had three).
-They serve free coffee everyday at the camp store but they don’t open until 9.
-Our daughter loved the playground.
-They have lots of activities on the weekend.

Overall seems like a great place to be on a warm weekend but if we stay again I would choose one of the bronze sites close to the amenities on the weekend to get your money’s worth.

We did not dump here but had hoped to get water and propane since the Love’s up there he road had neither. The sign says $10 to dump, not sure if you buy gas if the waive the fee but worth asking. There is no potable water though. Also, no one on staff to fill propane that day. 3.5 miles south down the highway is a free dump and fill at the county rest area.

After two failed attempts to find potable water at the Love’s stations further north stopped here. Couldn’t be easier and it’s free. Thanks Dale County, Alabama!
