Very convenient location, sites were a bit close, but ok for just one overnight. Very friendly staff on phone as we were coming in after hours. We did not use facilities so cannot comment. WIFI was very good. Conveniently located for on/off of I90

Great people, very dog friendly, isolated and very quiet. The sunset on the prairie was beautiful. We ordered pizza and had it delivered to our site, very good. Close to 1880's Town (also very dog friendly). We would stay there again. Very good WIFI.

Stayed here overnight on our way to and from the Grand Canyon. Easy on and off the interstate. Nice walking trail and dog area. Campground is in the lava fields so very unique landscape. Owners seem to be reinvesting and making it even nicer.

Very nice woman that called to confirm reservation and took me to show me site before we drove our rig up. Very nice and dog friendly. WIFI very good. We did not use any facilities so cannot comment. Noise from I80 was a bit loud but to be expected for so close.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.

Perfect overnight spot, only ones there and couldn't have felt safer. Use the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Center entrance to avoid questionable road. Sign asks that you check-in with Center, it was closed when we arrived, but I'm sure you can leave a message or an email.

Great state park and close to trails, water, biking and historic sites. We concentrated more on Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Jumonville Glen and Braddock's Grave. 30/50 amp sites, Site #190 would be perfect for larger rig; site 195 if camping with friends who need cabin. Pay close attention when booking, only 2 dog loops. Sites fairly level, large and private. Self contained so did not use any shower/rest rooms. Firewood and ice easy accessible. Dump station and potable water near entrance (website does not mention water, but it is available). Note: Pay attention to directions with reservation, some roads in are very steep and not recommended for RV. Plenty of room for adding a tent or clam shell to site.

Loved the full hookups and being in such close walking distance to trails and visitor center. Sites could have been leveler.

Our site was a bit tight with the location of the trailer and the fire ring. We did not use the facilities, but potable water was conveniently located for filling jugs. There was a nice walking trail to the lake and the campground was right on the Needles Hwy. We had to go "around" a bit to get our camper into location due to Needles restrictions, but not a big deal. The smell of pine was so enjoyable, we really loved this location, highly recommend, I think the lake and the campground were far superior to the others we saw for ambience. No convenient dump stations, but not an issue. Cell service was hit or miss.

We loved the trails for hiking and biking. Very dog friendly. Don't forget to pack your bug spray!
