Extremely tasty and fun place to eat! We stumbled upon this as we were walking around Portland and had a craving for sushi. First look, we weren't overly impressed but didn't see the sitting area nor the hibachi grill area. When we were seated, it was a cute take on Japanese sitting (think booth, but raised seats as if you were sitting down at a traditional Japanese table). Menu had a great amount of options from Katsu style, teriyaki style, and sushi. Rolls were good portion per price, teriyaki plate was extremely tasty without being smothered, and the lunch box was by far the best bang for buck. No complaints about this place and when we are in Portland again it will be a must do again. If you are in Portland and need that sushi fix, hit this place immediately.

Nice state park with lots of available hiking and boating. If you have a boat, there is a launch from here and lots of water to play on. Saw a lot of tube pulling, fishing, and some kayaks. The park has several short and one 11 mile hiking trail available to see the area. Power at the post was true and no issues. 100% DISABLED VETERANS CAMP FREE IN OHIO! You have to call the camp ground though to get this and not use Reserve America or Recreation.gov to get this. Learned it when we were staying there and know for next time. We would likely stay here again.

Very nice campground with a good amount of spots and room to explore. There are several spots that are right on the water that have easy access down to it. There were several groups that had their jet skis anchored right off the shore near them. Noise was not an issue at the camp and everyone adhered to the quiet hours. Several large play grounds are available for the kids and all have the rubber soft chips on the ground. Staff is very friendly and the camp hosts were available. Bathrooms and bath houses were very clean and in full working order. Keep in mind that the spots do not have water or sewer hook ups. Fresh water is available at different locations but fill up your tank before you park there. Power at the post is good and no issues noted. We enjoyed our stay here and will likely camp again.

The state park is a vast forest that has a lot of things for everyone. Many hiking trails and room to explore. I only had interaction with the gate attendant and he was a kind young man that had plenty of information available. Did not really see the camp host though I know they were there. The RV grounds are very spacious and easy to get into. The power is steady and true at the post. A large field in the middle of the campground offers a lot of space for playing games and there is a swing set for the kiddos. Bathroom is a traditional campground rustic hole in the ground. Was well maintained though and did not need any further attention.

Wild animals are very abundant even in the camping area. We saw several turkey and a doe walking around freely. There has been warnings of black bears in the area but we did not see any nor a sign of one. Doesn't mean they are not out there so be smart people!

There is a town not to far away that gives access to local flavor and shopping for necessities. All in all it was a nice place to pass through.

One of the best BBQ places that we have been to! Found it on accident when our GPS decided that the back roads were the right way to go. Quick and delicious. Sauce is very flavorful and not too sweet. Highly recommend if you're driving through that area. Can't wait to drive across the country again so we can stop here and eat.
