The little museum was interesting, but needed some love. We didn't do the tour of the launch control, but did drive out to the delta-09 silo and did the audio tour. The tour was fine, but not that interesting and it took a while to listen to all of it. On a 95-degree day, the kids lost interest pretty fast!
Beautiful building and grounds! Couldn't go inside since we were there on Sunday morning, but we did have a nice walk by the lake. The statues are really neat, especially the fighting stallions.
Great little park in the way across I-90 to stop and stretch your legs and take some fun pictures. Make sure to walk up behind the statue and climb up the stairs.
Smaller than I expected, but it made a good stop to stretch and change drivers. Good for some fun photos.
Very easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. Basically a large pair of glasses on the side of a corn field. No plaque or anything.
Great view of Council Bluffs and Omaha. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.
Stopped on our way past on I-80 for a diversion. This would be really interesting if there was anything to see. There is just a sign in a window. The building itself is now a hair salon.

Stopped by the Freedom Rock this afternoon. This is a beautiful memorial and obviously a labor of love. We were surprised by the number of entries in the log book for today already, and several other cars arrived while we were there. Definitely worth stopping to see!
