Not TOTALLY amazing, or as big as you'd think it would be, but if you are dying to get out of the car and stretch your legs this is a good opportunity to do so- plus, it's a hilarious photo opp. Just make sure when you're taking the picture that you include the handle so that your friends realize it's a frying pan, not just a circular metal blob :)

In the middle of nowhere, but great for photo ops. There is a debate about whether or not this is the WORLD’S largest frying pan, since there are several that claim that title, but regardless it is Iowa’s largest!

Kind of a fun diversion from driving. Nothing too terribly impressive

Agree that this is a good place to stop and get out. There’s NO sign on the roadside so you have to KNOW it’s there. After we got our picture we ended up at the Quickstop. We were looking for silly souvenirs. All they had were postcards. But the Kwik Stop shop itself was like the clearance section at target so we end up getting our kids like lots of silly toys and we have a lot of fun talking to the people who worked there. It was a good stop and I’m glad we made it :-)

Not enormous, but pretty freaking big. Definitely the biggest I've seen, and not one I'd want the old lady to be holding when she's mad at me

Quirky stop, might stop at the Cedar Valley Nature Tail next for a good leg stretch .

It holds nearly 600 eggs, and it's about all there is in town.

It wasn't nearly as large as I expected, but it was hands down the largest frying pan I've ever seen. If you're looking for a reason to get out of the car for a few minutes this guy isn't far off the highway.
