This was a fun stop on our way out of Coeur d'Alene. We visited off season, and were lucky to get a private tour of the mine for our family of 4. It was informative and interesting. After the tour, we got to spend an hour panning for gold, which was included in the admission. My 10 & 14 year olds both thought it was fun! Another plus, is their parking lot could accommodate our large motorhome.
