This place was beautiful! We got a trail map at the little museum at the entrance and had a nice leisurely hike around the wall adjacent to the river. The waterfalls were fantastic! It’s a great place to spend an hour or two stretching your legs on a walk, or having a picnic and a swim in the river!

Amazing adventure! Book one of the expeditions a few days ahead, and plan to spend a few hours getting REALLY muddy (They have showers and a campground on site). We did the waterfall dome tour, which has several waterfalls, salamanders, fossils, interesting features, etc. We crawled, squeezed, rope climbed, and straddled a canyon. I am slightly afraid of heights, so my adrenaline was pumping! Our tour guide really helped out, telling us where to place each knee or foot to get through the tough spots, which really helped me overcome my fear. She also showed us how to crawl so we wouldn’t hit our backs on the top and bruise our forearms. The whole thing was so much fun! If you’re going to do an expedition, you should definitely be able to hoist yourself up with your arms several times, but the squeezes were plenty big enough for most people to get through, and there are alternative routes for most of them. Our GoPro fit well on the helmet provided. I don’t recommend taking a cell phone or anything in that’s not strapped on. I highly recommend this place!
