Kind of cool. They did a good job with the look and feel of the place with a lot of old cars parked around the place and petrified wood scattered around. The "Wigwam" is really a small hotel room with a concrete structure built around it that resembles a wigwam. Set you expectations accordingly and remember that this is a Motel 6. The rooms could use some serious updating.
After reading the reviews we just took pics as we slowly drove by. The man and woman were sitting in the open garage and just ignored us. The house looks different. There is a big black iron gate around the yard and thy roof has been redone.
Pretty cool to see. It was 117 when we were there. The shop was closed due to COVID-19 unfortunately.
We saw the evening March of the ducks from the fountain to the elevator. The emcee was a character and super informative while being amusing. It was really neat to watch all the kids light up when the ducks waffles past them.
I went to this place many times when it was Kitchak cellars. The Krupps are worthy successors in terms of both their attention to superior winemaking and their stewardship of the beautiful property.
