We came here last week and this is a place that pictures will never do justice. There's a couple different ways to explore the caves, and we didn't have a ton of time so we decided to do that self-guided tour going down the elevator (as opposed to the natural entrance). One of the silver linings from Covid is that they are not doing group tours anymore, so the tours are just you and those in your group My wife and I were the first ones there in the morning, and we got to tour the caverns by ourselves. During the winter months there are no bats to see, which was a bummer. But still a gem that is worth seeing.

Cute little row of houses! My wife and I spent half the day in Charleston and loved it. We definitely want to come back here. One of the coolest cities I have been to in this country.

Beautiful tree! Definitely worth stopping by to check out. My wife and I stopped by this place and it was quiet and peaceful.

Got a chance to see this place today. Gorgeous park and it’s quiet and peaceful. Saw a bunch of squirrels but not many other animals. We took the boardwalk and it took about an hour and a half. There’s also a few other trials to check out too. Also seems that winter is one of the better times to see this park because the mosquitoes out here are brutal other times of the year.

There’s nothing there anymore, at least what it used to look like. It was under construction when we drove by so not sure when it’s gonna open again.

Took this bridge for fun just before leaving New Orleans. Going north is free whereas going south has a fee. Fortunately we didn’t encounter the heavy wind that sometimes comes through here. Fun to take if you have a chance.

It’s a big chair. Good place to stretch your legs after a long day of driving and move on.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is so quiet and pure and clean. The road is paved until about mile 5, then its tightly packed sand at that point. You can drive on it anyways and there is no worry about getting stuck. The scenery is amazing and there is something otherwordly about the ripples in the sand. You can also get a sled (not sure if you can rent them, or if you have to buy them) and slide down the dunes too! Absolutely want to come back
