We got there 15 minutes late, but the front desk lady Bev was a sweetheart. We sweet talked her and let her know that we had just driven all day from Wisconsin to see this gnome. She said we were nuts, but let us high tail it to the back of the garden to snap a quick photo with him. The Elmwood is located in the rear of the Reiman gardens on Iowa State University campus. He's not a large as would have hoped, but worth the stop if you can finagle a free entry ;)
