This was the only convenient dump we found for many miles and it was not functional.
As stated in other reviews the road from the pavement to the cattle guard is a challenge but doable if you go slow. We have a 25’ bumper pull behind a crew cab truck. We also saw much larger toy haulers and Class As so I think anyone could make it. I would not attempt this road in wet weather. You do have to go through the National Park gates and that is expensive unless you have an annual or lifetime pass.
There are lots of sites to choose from and they are well separated. It is really peaceful aside from the helicopter tour traffic out of Tusayan which occurs sporadically. It is super dark at night and easy access to the Grand Canyon trails etc.
This spot is less than 3 hours from home and we will come back here for quick getaways.

This is a great campground! Big trees for shade in the back half. It is in a neighborhood so it’s pretty quiet while close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The dog area was clean. The site was level and spacious for a KOA. Definitely we will stay here again.

Forest road 611. Easy to find, easy to traverse with a pickup and 25’ trailer. Numerous sites. The further you go the better they get. Many were occupied but it was peaceful and quiet. This will be our go to when we are headed out of or into our home in central Arizona.

We found this small park to be delightful. Yes there are a few residents but it was clean and quiet. We were happy to be in the trees and ended up staying an extra night due to high wind. We were sheltered and cozy. The laundry facilities were much appreciated and were clean and worked well.
It is an easy walk to the Snake River where the dog was able to play at the boat ramp out of the strong current. The bird life in the park was a treat! So many species to enjoy.
We would definitely stay here again.

This looked like a wonderful campground for families with ATVs. Lots for kids to do and ATVs in nearly every site. Fairly noisy for us regular folk though.
Can’t say it was a bad campground. We didn’t read the description before booking. That’s on us.

We camped at Cove 5 and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The bird watching was great. We enjoyed the herons, egrets and pelicans in particular. The closest neighbor was far away across the cove. The bugs were minimal in October. Even though it was the Monday of a holiday weekend there was almost no one here. This will be our spot on our future AZ to OR trips.

We camped here with our 25’ travel trailer. Parking is tight as mentioned in other reviews but not impossible. We did not use the restrooms although we did check them out and the women's near the entrance was disgusting.
That being said, we really liked this campground. It was super quiet and the views are incredible. We enjoyed watching antelope and birds.
