This was a good hike through a pretty forest, and maybe it was when we came, but I had expected to be able to see the water moving and instead it looked like a dirty pond in a sinkhole. It was still cool, but I wish I'd managed my expectations a bit better.
I thought the stairs were going to kill me (I could be in better shape!), but the view at the top was totally breathtaking and worth it.
I really enjoyed walking through the historic farm and talking with my kids (ages 13 and 11) about how people lived and what that would have been like. It was memorable and fun, even in the rain!
Kitschy but fun - we stopped on our way out of town and enjoyed it to no end. We left with two sets of salt and pepper shakers to remind us of this out-of-the-way museum. It was clearly a labor of love for the woman who put together this amazing collection.
We went to the Follow the Pack tour. It was amazing to see these beautiful creatures up close. It was a freezing-cold and windy day and my 13- and 11-year old kids still loved the tour. We hope to go to the Wolf Howl next time we're back in West Lafayette!
