We stayed at The Boulders for three nights. We had site #20, which is ON the water and was perfect. Site was level and had good water pressure, strong cell signal on ATT. Grounds were well kept, nice bathhouse, friendly staff. Truly the prettiest RV park we’ve been to.

We stayed here on April 23rd. Excellent spot for a stopover as others have said. Level site, full hookups, good water pressure, easy check in after hours. We called ahead and the owners had our info waiting for us in our spot. Nice grassy areas to walk the doggo and to stretch our legs after a 450 mile day. Location is right off Hwy 287, but noise from the road wasn’t a problem. Will definitely stay again next time we head across TX!

We were fortunate to be assigned to Site 13, an end spot with an oversized beautiful green lawn. That said, most sites other than those facing the main entrance were not being watered and allowed to go brown and weedy. If we had been assigned one of these, we would’ve asked to be moved. Not sure if they have an irrigation problem or what, but others were clearly not happy. Otherwise, the campground was clean, bathhouses were well kept, and the sites were level. Nicest power/ water pedestals we’ve ever seen, and steady 120v power even with many rigs running AC in record heat. Not sure if three or four stars is right, but don’t expect a nice green site.

Stayed at 7th Ranch on August 13th and 19th on the way to and from Glacier NP. It’s a great midway stopover point between Glacier and Denver. We stayed in A-4 and B-19- each had a nice patch of green grass ( not common in the west this summer) and a shade tree, which our hound loved. Clean bathhouse and grounds, and an ice cream of your choice when you check in. Nice!
Beautiful views of that BIG Montana sky, and an easy visit to Little Bighorn National Battlefield before morning check out. The good reviews are no joke, this is a great spot. Only negative, though it is not the campgrounds fault, is the washboard county road from the highway frontage to the entrance that others have mentioned. It will rattle your fillings loose, but it is not far.
Oh, and the owner looks suspiciously like golfer John Daly, or Santa Clause. Either one. Great spot.
