“Step back in time”
STEP BACK IN TIME when families, eager with anticipation, loaded horse-drawn wagons with cotton and headed for the "Gin". A time when friends and family gathered 'round a potbelly stove in the local General Store to visit, gossip, politic and "yarn up a tall tale". A time when life seemed to roll at a slow pace. Please visit us at OLE TOWNE COTTON GIN RV PARK, where we've "ROLLED BACK TIME".

Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on November 07, 2023My wife and I have stayed here twice coming and going to West Texas for the Winter. This park is a jewel in a very empty panhandle. The sites are long pull throughs; we didn't unhook our tow. The hookups are easy and convenient.
This is not a tourist park, no entertainment. It is a clean, safe, and well maintained park that is a very comfortable stop. The old Cotton Gin is interesting to walk through and look around. The park is very orderly with the few permanents very neat and tidy. All the pedestal lights actually work so it is well lit at night. I saw the bathrooms cleaned every day and the laundry is the honor system. The highway and railroad are nearby but it is only background noise. Wi-Fi was good. We'll be back.
Pulled in late one evening and was thrilled at how nice this camp was! They have everything including a pool! Very quaint old mill building with antiques, clean park, very nice sites. Great pull thru for my 5th wheel and truck. Wish I'd have had time to stay and enjoy the amenities. Far enough off the hwy to not rumble with trucks all night! Very peaceful.
Super nice staff and really nice park. Large spaces and really pretty. We stopped in for just one night but I highly recommend it. Seriously the staff was sooooo friendly and amazing. Also, fresh yard eggs in the store which was an awesome bonus.
Stopped here twice. Right off road, simple, large grassy spaces. Very clean. Mowed field in back good for my dogs. No frills I never use. Exactly my kind of overnight stop.
We really enjoyed our short stay. Nice, quiet, clean, quick access and very friendly.
Easy to get to, very clean and late night check in was super easy. Highly recommended stop.
Stopped for the night. Decent night stay. Some highway and train noise but slept through it. Was able to call ahead and speak to someone prior to arrival. Helpful.
We loved the new owner of the Ole Town Cotton Gin Park! Her name is Gail. What a lady, full of southern charms to make any one have a better day! Full of life!! The place is awesome good laundry (with a an old fashion honror system box!) open pool, clean showers, full hookups, little store inside, good internet, also strong winds here. There is some traffic noise, and serveral trains pass by. I will diffentlly stay here again

We stayed here while traveling from Florida to Colorado via the “southern” route three times so far (2015, 2018 and 2019). Very clean place. Good power for the needed A/C. It was hot! Well kept campground with a pool and interesting old cotton gin. Nice friendly staff. We recommend this campground.

We stopped in for the night on our way home. It fit all our needs. We were able to pull through so we didn’t have to unhook. Full hook ups to have a/c, water, and dump and clean tanks before getting home. Park was clean with pool, little store, and friendly staff. And major bonus points for being easy access to the main road without being right on it.
