Just a big parking lot which we came in expecting at least some grass or shade of some kind. We had tickets to the Statue of Liberty the next day so when we checked in I stated this and told them I needed a late check out. Once I got checked in they told me that wouldn't be a problem, come back in the morning to check out and they'd have me check back in as this was the policy. When I returned that morning they kindly told me that they were booked and I couldn't stay on the same spot. Keep in mind we are fully set up and we have a ferry to catch, they then tell me that once I'm ready to move they would show me where to move too. They neglected to say anything about the late check out to them means you move to a back parking lot with no hook up at all....I'm not kidding! I told them I didn't have time to move and they needed to figure something out, another guy comes out looks at the schedule and says yep, were booked...Sorry! If they would have told me this in the beginning I would have just booked two nights. So I not only missed our ferry time I also had to move the rig to the back parking lot with no electric and pay $40.00. As the other person mentioned, restrooms were not clean. I will not be staying here again, I made it clear to them that they should have been up front with the late check out and the back parking lot when we checked into the place.
If you're in a bind- stay here. The only nice thing was the proximity to the Grand Canyon. Bathrooms were dirty and $2.00 for an 8 minute shower- which wasn't clean enough for me to even consider using. No pool. Just dusty sites. The way the have the hook ups boxed in it makes it difficult to drain properly. It really nothing special and for the price I expected s whole lot more. I've stayed at beautiful rv parks with a whole lot more amenities and payed half the price. It needs some serious maintenance and TLC.
The address listed is incorrect. It's actually on Electric St. Nice place. Quiet- if that's what you like, however we prefer a little more noise so we don't feel like we are the only ones making any. Don't get me wrong not looking for a party, but by 10pm everyone was in for the night. Sites were well manicured and all bathrooms were clean and had keypads on outside entrance so not just anyone could enter.
