Pretty great ribs. Must stop on a road trip. They close at 7pm not 5pm (roadtrippers app)
Make sure to make time to watch the movie.
Amazing! Make sure to hike to the top of the Postpile to see the shapes!
Nice family park, I just found the staff running the concession stands a bit rude and unhelpful. The Rangers were much more helpful. It's best to bring water shoes if you plan to just do swimming or snorkeling at the park.
Beautiful river walk but not very impressed by the scenery.
Very clean restroom and beautiful picnic area, perfect for sunset breaks.
I would recommend reading a bit about the Alamo , the history and the war before going. The inside of the building had too much of bad energy inside, I just couldn't focus that I had to get out of the building. The people take very good care of the Alamo and take pride in preserving it. I liked seeing how much pride the locals had.
This is a 25 minute drive off the I-10. Really easy to find, good signage. You do have to drive on a dirt road for about a mile but it is nice and maintained.
The park ranger, Michael Dozie, did an amazing job at explaining everything to us. The fort is set on a beautiful landscape. If you have some time, stop by and take in this amazing historical site.
Loved it. So beautiful, informative, historical and peaceful.
