A neat little surprise along the road. The staff was wonderful and engaging, the store was very nice with a nut bar of free samples of their pistachios. The ice cream was excellent and highly recommend.

A great western experience with "wild" burros (very domesticated and friendly) that eat freely from ones hand. Purchase the burro food from vendors for $1. Cars can still drive up the Main Street so be careful -especially if you have little kids as there is so much that can distract. Typical "touristy" shops but among such things are the cool authentic western and historical buildings. See the Gable-Lombard Honeymoon Suite (still intact) at the historic Oatman Hotel and check out the millions of dollar bills plastered to the walls of the eatery inside. This place is said to be haunted :). The street gunfights are fun (prep the kids for loud gun shots) and happen all over Oatman. Entertaining for the family. You can pan for gold and look over many unique rocks from around the area. Fun place for all ages and you can go and not spend a cent. We avoided the windy road everyone spoke of and drove an extra 15 minutes on highway to head in from Needles. Great day trip.
