It’s a good historical stop if you’re in the area. If you’re traveling with pets, expect to be stopped. You can’t enter past the entrance, but there is a nice shady spot to wait with your pooch while the rest of the family sight-sees and you “switch off”. On that note - I don’t fully understand why the dog can’t come in further. It’s all outside and essentially a sidewalk…

Nice little spot to stay for a night. We tent camped by the creek (Tent Site #3) and it was great listening to the creek bubble as we fell asleep.
Great stay just minutes from the west entrance. Good pet-friendly policy and nice staff.

Leavenworth is such an adorable to town to visit, but this KOA is fantastic. Walking distance to the village in town, plenty of activities and very clean facilities. Great little stop.
