Sites were large and level, with plenty of mature trees. Campground host was extremely helpful - he even came to visit us at our site to make sure everything was good for us. The campground is large so just walking around it is exercise, but there are also many nice trails to take. We saw three large playgrounds that made us wish our grandkids were with us. The campground and bathrooms were clean. They have a large store on site. There were rentals available for use on the lake that we didn't take advantage of and they had log cabins and yurts for rent too.

Nice campground to stay very close to Mount Rushmore. Sites were adequate but narrow....I had to get the neighbor on my slide-side to watch his awning when putting out my slide so I didn't hit his awning. Staff (Tom) was very helpful. Bathrooms were good enough, not great. Pool looked nice but we didn't go in.

Extremely helpful staff. When we arrived, only dry camping sites were available, but the staff/host were able to move us to a full hookup site when a late arrival guest delayed till the next day. Lots of mature trees and open grassy areas. Definitely would stay here again.

Excellent campground and well stocked store. Clean bathrooms and walking distance to a Camping World. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Grand Ole Opry is a very close and the rest of Nashville is just a quick freeway ride away. We'll definitely stay here again.

OK campground...better than a parking lot type, but the freeway was right next to us which made it unpleasant to sit outside at our picnic table. The staff were friendly. The Miniature Golf course worked but it is in serious deterioration and needs to be rebuilt.

Very clean, well organized campground. Staff were very friendly. They run a UFO souvenir and camping supply store that is very well stocked. Definitely will stay here again when we're in the area.

Nice campground with spots directly on the river. Lots of mature trees and good sized sites. Relaxing and enjoyable stay except for the bugs which prompted me to pick up a screenhouse so we could sit outside more.

We were there while it was still hot...110 degrees during the day so we limited our hiking and outdoor activities to the mornings and evenings.

There were around 10 Bighorn Sheep that came out to graze everyday from around noon to 3 pm; most of them stayed about 200 feet away from the campsite but we watched one walk through our campsite while we were inside the RV. In the evening we had a tortoise crossing the road next to us and roadrunners come within a few feet of us while we ate dinner outside the RV.

The 2 mile Moonlight Canyon trail was filled with amazing cacti, definitely worth the effort to hike it. The park was clean; sites ranged from medium to large; the three mineral pools were excellent. Bathrooms were very clean.

Outstanding park that looks like new. Friendly staff. All pull through sites with full hookups. Laundry available too. It's on Luke AFB so it requires military base access.
