Great camp ground. The views are beautiful. It is easy to get a site the same day even during Stugis bike week. We called ahead around 10am and reserved our site over the phone and it was marked and ready when we arrived around 7pm. When we set out to explore the park the next day it was easy to stop at the check in station and reserve the site again. Every night at 9pm during the summer season they have a night sky presentation at the amphitheater at the entrance of the camp ground. It was a wonderful presentation and the sky was beautiful with the milky way visible. There is running water in the bathrooms and showers available. The hookups available are only on 2 sites I believe so unless you reserve a bit ahead of time don't plan on hook ups. But you can run a generator until 10pm if necessary and most of the sites are level pull-overs. The sunsets were gorgeous.
