Beautiful place to visit! Original owner drained the pond to establish the Gardens. A great way to escape the heat.

Not a lot of excitement, but a great place to visit. Experience some history. Enjoy the nature trails. Take photos wearing Spanish armor. Annual landing re-creation around April.

Visit either location and enjoy! My wife and I have tried most of the Mexican and wannabe restaurants in the area. Mexicali, by far, has the better selection, better tasting and larger portions. The Cortez location has the better atmosphere of the two, but the food is great at both.
