This is an absolutely lovely park. It is very well maintained and clean. There are lots of activities as well. We visited when it was very cold out (23 degrees) so the park was completely empty, but I could see it filling up much more in the summer.
I’m not sure if they intentionally let water out of the lake during the winter or not, but the water was very low when we were there. This was somewhat neat though as there were things to see along the shoreline that would otherwise be underwater.
Our only complaint and the reason I did not rate 5 stars is their mapping is somewhat lacking. We drove around for quite some time looking for trail-heads to hike. They have not yet GPS enables their maps like some other parks and with this one being somewhat large and divided into sections around the lake really could use this.

This is a nice little park, but over the years silt has filled where the lake used to be and it is now totally gone. to be honest, the park is left a little boring as a result.

Hiking trails are pretty nice and all are pretty easy with only the longest trail having one small hill/climb. On our last visit we hiked both the red and green trails totaling just under five miles.

This is one of the only parks I know of to have a wheel chair accessible trail/loop (blue) which is very nice.
