This park is not without it's bucolic charms but it suffers from lack of maintenance and was built on the side of a hill. Leveling your rig here is a big challenge. Thousand Trails has made no attempt to level the sites. The gravel road into the park is dusty and full of potholes.

If you are looking for a spot near the South Rim this is a good choice for 30 and under rigs. The spots can be a little tricky to get into due to turns and trees. Some trees showed signs of damage from RVs. Popular with Cruise America RV renters who won't be getting a full deposit back. Very walkable to the Grand Canyon. The nearby RV trailer campground looked like a parking lot in comparison.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are nicely wooded and well spaced out from the neighbors.

Pros:
-Close to Sunriver and Cascade Lakes
-Scenic area
-Great access to the Little Deschutes river
-Huge grassy off leash dog area
-Adult and family pools
-Nice lodge and lots of activities

Cons:
-Lack of sewer connection at the sites but we used the nice hot showers at the pool and bathrooms
-Can be pricey but we paid $0 with our Zone pass and they offer a Passport America discount

Great location on the water. The park has a boat ramp where we launched our paddle boards and enjoyed paddling around the area. Awesome sunsets every night. Enjoyed the beaches and area.

On the negative side the park is dusty, not terribly clean, and could use a little more maintenance. Overall the location makes up for any negatives.

9/29/17 Update -
We came back in the fall and really loved the park. Not crowded and not dusty (maybe due to recent rains). The sunsets were just as awesome and the paddleboarding is great. Good AT&T on the Mobley. I added a YouTube Video link in the blog section.

This spot did not live up to the description. The views of the mountains here are incredible but this particular was really tight. The rock tub looked great in pictures but was a little tepid and right in the parking area with a lot of traffic. We ended up camping on the other side of the road which was fine for one night. People really bomb down the dirt road. The are other better hot springs in the other we found so it up being memorable.

This is a very grassy park like setting on the Salmon River. Really nice bathrooms and showers. The spots on the river don't have sewer hookups due to environmental restrictions according to management.

We stayed here on the way up to Olympic National Park. This is a basic park with great access to a large beach. Coming from Oregon we found Ocean Shores and the beaches here to be just OK. Nothing too spectacular.

The back area closer to the beach is water and electric. Sites are pretty close together in a big grassy field. Kind of like camping in a fair grounds. Short walk down a path to the beach. Manager was very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice park right across from a great beach you can walk to or even drive your car on. We managed to get a sewer site but they are very limited. Many of the access roads are two way and very narrow. Some of the upper loops have ocean views but the best sites are leased out or used for rentals.

Phone and Internet service is pretty much non-existent even with a booster (Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon). Pacific City is a quick drive away and had great Sprint and Verizon coverage.

We really enjoyed the area and did a couple of great hikes in nearby Cape Lookout State Park.

Update (September 2017) - We got OK AT&T Mobley in the lower loops with our cradle booster this past summer. Our friends stayed in the upper loop and have a bigger booster with directional antenna and reported a couple bars of LTE on Verizon and AT&T.

Overall we still love this area but the same negatives still apply and the roads are in pretty rough shape and show no signs of maintenance.

We enjoyed our stay despite weathering a massive storm and mostly rain. Close to Old Florence and the Oregon Dunes. Some of the spots are a little tight and full hookups are limited but we scored a nice sunny (when there was sun) and full hookup. A quick three mile drive to an awesome beach. Nice pool, hot tub, and lodges.

Rate reflects Thousand Trails Zone pass.

This campground was a bit of disappointment. The area is undeniably beautiful and it's a short drive to the wineries. The roads and sites in here are very narrow. We warned to not even attempt to take our Class A into an entire loop because it was so steep. After walking the road and seeing all the scrape marks I can see why they warned us.

No sewer connections. No pool or spa but you can float the river in the summer.

Would we camp here again? Maybe.
