The picture shown here isn't even from this campground. I would've never advertised this place as "one of Ohio's best kept secrets. " Again, extremely rude staff and management.
This tree was much bigger than I thought. It has three nice dedicated benches behind the memorial stone, with a nice circle pathway around the tree and trails as well.
Nothing on the internet to explain the changes, but the fountain is completely different now. I wouldn't even say it's a wishing foundation any more because there is a sign asking nothing be thrown in. The building directly behind doesn't have anyone available to answer any questions about it. The fountain is still very relaxing and this one has a light feature from the spouts.
This campground is NOT free like it says here, nor do they allow tents. The management was extremely rude and denied having the information advertised that way even when I showed them the advertisement on this app. I was polite and gave them a call before I was coming through in the middle of that night at a pouring down dangerous rate, leaving my name, number, vehicle description and reason for coming. I found they wanted to charge me $47 for staying the night and kept denying anything to do with this app. Terrible management, and not even a fun campground. Nothing to do there either.
