There are beautiful hiking trails and more falls that aren't on the main path so they aren't as crowded. On the trails there are primitive camping sites. A beautiful part of Minnesota!
Blue Hole was on the list of my daughter's and my road trip from Minnesota. After hitting a few other swimming holes in the area we found it beautiful but a little more commercialized that we were expecting. A great place to take kids for the day though.
This is what inspired my daughter and I to road trip to Texas from Minnesota. We hit other swimming holes in the area but this was the most beautiful and unique. It's hard to find but don't give up - ask a local if necessary. It is still natural and uncommercialized and a definite must see in Texas!
The picture doesn't do this beautiful campground justice. It is missing all if the natural springs and the gorgeous swimming hole and rope swing. One of the most beautiful places on our road trip from Minnesota!
On our road trip from Minnesota we were looking for a place to camp but there is no camping that we found. We didn't get out and walk around much because there wasn't much information at the sure.
That was one of our stops on our road trip from Minnesota. Definitely worth it! The only drawback was there was no swimming allowed the day my daughter and I were there due to the bacteria levels. The scenery is absolutely beautiful though.
