Clean and quiet no frills little motel. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly enough. We were the only patrons for the night so it was nice and quiet. Rooms are a little run down and outdated but everything works and was clean. And you can't beat the price. Cheapest spot in town.

Warning! The navigation on this takes you up a very long winding dangerous road into the middle of nowhere. It does NOT take you to the trees. Go straight and don't turn on the road to the middle of nowhere to get to the park. That said, it was amazing. Both the town and the gorgeous giant trees. We went in the winter so there weren't many people. You will need chains in your car to get into the park. You can rent them in town if you don't have any.
"The Thing" part at the end of the tour of random antiques is kinda stupid honestly. Don't go out of your way but if you're passing by it the admission is super cheap and you can stretch your legs and get gas, an ice cream etc. "The Thing" I'm pretty sure is only there so people will come in and buy road snacks and gas and ice cream. At a dollar per person the admission isn't where they're making their money.
