Entry fee is up now to $10 but I think it is truly worthy it.
We are not RVers but were driving through I-80 and were looking for something to break the monotony with, without going too far out of the way. I'd found something called the Quilt Gardens in the area and with all its hype and websites and glory, I could find zero (0) information about any of the gardens being visible, even partially, by simply driving around and not getting out of one's vehicle. Guess what. Nobody seems to know that. So the Quilt Gardens' loss was the RV & Motorhome Hall of Fame's gain and we don't regret it one bit.
Several of these magnificent residences on wheels are so much better than our static homes.
The smell of soup makes you hungry, so be ready to have to make a food stop once you're here!
What's better than being a kid in a candy story?
Being an adult in the world's largest candy store!
'nuff said -- go visit
Great fun place. Easy to get to from I-80. Nothing on the menu over $5. And best of all -- no vegetables or pretentious healthy options. I'm not being sarcastic. You want a salad, go some place else. More fun for the rest of us :-P
Give the tiramisu ice cream a try!
Perfect spot to stop at just before you hit the hills, if you're headed towards State College, or just before Harrisburg traffic begins.
Great food. The sausages are real sausages, and not the usual flat disk nonsense!
Google map and GPS directions are confusing. You can see Rt 11 going South on the left in my picture, and that's the best side to enter/exit from
