I am so surprised that nobody has written a comment yet. Although it is quite a beautiful walk to reach second beach... HOLY CRAP IS IT WORTH IT. Besides a tire or two on the beach... it is pristine and memorizing! !! The huge rock formations... beaches that stretch forever... just wow! Totally recommend!!
The lady that works at the Chamber of Commerce was really nice and informative. She was really excited for all the visitors that put this town on the map. However, not much looks like the book at all. The only other person that was really friendly, was a girl from native to Twilight, and that was the only store that sort of still sold Twilight memorabilia. The other two stores that's it, it seems homemade. The town is very small true, but it doesn't seem to be taken care of. I was actually a bit disappointed especially since we traveled out of our way to visit here.... plus there's better memoribilia at Hot Topic.... not cool.
Although the city seems to all be closed before 8 pm... and no seems to live here or in the surrounding towns... the Sand Dollar was very clean and orderly. The pillows a little sinky but overall, a nice place.
Our tour guide Carly was awesome! Very informative on the history of the city without being boring. Lots of cool facts and time to take pictures. Loved the stories about Madame Lou ;)
Amazing inn!!!! They know what 'ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY' truly means.... green products/ not tested on animals in the room... organic breakfast foods and drink.... AND the compost! Great group of people here and a grant location :)
