This is a decent campground especially if you have kids. We have a 36’ 5th wheel and it is a little hard to get around in here. No markings for entrance and exit which are very narrow and little room for more than 1 rv to be waiting to register. The roads in the park are 1 a lane loop without direction marked as one way. Lots are shady but close together. Quite noisy and lots of constant road noise. Not my favorite for relaxing. Nice town though with everything you need close by.
We camped here with our 30 ft trailer for two nights. It was comfortable but I was disappointed that we didn't have a water hookup. It was spacious and well cared for, but most RV sites were parallel pull offs to the roads. Thruway noise was more than we would have liked, but overall a good experience for a shorter stay. They had many nice tent sites and in very open, pitch wherever you want area. A good amount of open space and shade mixed with nice mature trees to sit under and enjoy the breeze. We were here to view the total solar eclipse and it was a perfect place to do that. Not too crowded and well managed.
What a quiet, cozy and very green campground. Our trailer site was paved and flat,shady and plenty of room around it. The camp host was helpful when we couldn't get our electric hookup to work (human error!).... we are first timers and this was beautiful.
