Incredibly important Native American site. Great history can be found on Wikipedia to inspire you to visit this site and the nearby Choctaw treaty marker and then travel up the Natchez Trace to see all the mounds.
Make sure to get to this location while on Natchez trace road. The location was not set correct when we went to it. Some good Native American history to take in along the Trace and in Mississippi.
Almost not worth the stop. You can’t drive across it anymore as it is blocked off and falling apart. So you have to backtrack to the road. Kids called it Sucky bridge.
Clean and new. Perfect.

Beautiful park, nice visitor center. Would be a great place to camp. We stopped in for the history. Nice to see the river and locale where Davy was born.
Good day stop on a road trip. So fun on a hot day. Pretty crowded but it's fun anyway.
It's too far away to see much from the fence. Took a photo from 600 hundred yards away. Not worth the stop anymore.
We made it fun, as others have, by taking photos "holding" the bottle. Also it's funny to see the text on the door, "Open for happiness," and then we pushed the doorbell and the lady came and told us it's just a warehouse. She was smiley, so must have been in a happy mood today. Probably not worth the stop, but we made it fun.
