Important historical stop that celebrates the sacrifice of an abolitionist family. We enjoyed our stop at the museum. Your guide was very knowledgeable.

Crowded! Sturgis bikers, campers, families all over. Bathroom line was super long. We waited an hour and a half and Old Faithful did not blow. We left to beat the crowds out. It was so different than I remember as a child. I still think it's worth the stop, but be prepared for the huddled masses and long waits.

Loved it! Great food! Loved the in house brewed Birch and Rootbeer. Loved Artie's Spin Dip appetizer. Food was amply proportioned. We enjoyed ourselves and too home a crate of Dr. Rootbeer.

Fabulous museum organized in chronological cause/effect order. Great informational, multi-perspective videos. Artifacts of high quality and interest. Staff was helpful. Teachers/AAA/Military receive discounts on entry and gift shop items. Glad we stopped.

Cool gambling town with feel of the Old West. Full of bikers from Sturgis. Cobblestone roads were nice.

We enjoyed the park. We were very interested in learning about its construction process. Good films helped explain the enormity of the task.

The statue is enormous. There is a nice sign that explains its history and dimensions. The museum is closed due to the pandemic, but the gift store is open. A fun photo opportunity and chance to stretch. There are some fun instruments for kids to play with near the statue. Also a DQ is right next door for a quick treat to eat in the park.

This was included with our stay at The VUE. We liked the bird exhibit that allowed us to interact with a bunch of parakeets. The kids found this to be super fun. We also liked the pug races. Buy the $10 lunchbox to feed the animals along the way.

It's just ok food. Close to Jolly Green Giant statue. Also, we needed a gas station and a car wash, so the restaurant was good enough due to its proximity to both. This was a planned "leg stretch" for our travels. There is a little Sprout statue in front of the restaurant and others hidden throughout the town of Blue Earth. We did not have time to go look for more. But, my kids would have liked to have found them all.
