Very fun location and very! The food was good, but the hush puppies were unique and awesome! You could make a meal just out of hush puppies, and red beans and rice with sausage! The prices are a little high but pretty standard for seafood.
Great Lake! This park is an equal. Good amount of access to the lake, nice sites for camping. The bathrooms should be renamed "saunas", but they are at least clean.
Great Disc Golf! Good fairways and challenging holes!
We didn't get to go inside because it closed early. We did go to the outside exhibits and they were interesting but not worth coming back for.
The visitor center was interesting. The main telescope was neat to see as well, however it would have been better if we were able to talk to someone there or see some of the equipment at work.
It is very retro! I felt like I was in a "Men in Black" movie.
I was very impressed with the caverns! If you have time and energy,...you need to walk down the natural trail entrance. It lets you get a real feel for how far down these caves go. The bat show at night is equally impressive!
This is a great place to go with the family! There are so many unique dunes, half the fun is just hunting for a good one to sled down. Try to go when it's overcast and it will be perfect!
Good seafood, but you have to try their Bread Pudding when you go!
This is a great camp ground! Beautiful scenery, fairly easy access to the water. The camp grounds are geared towards campers instead of tents. The bathrooms are some of the best I've seen at a camp ground. All in all, this is a good get away for the whole family!
