We were very exited to see this on our way to Branson, however when we pulled in, the gate was closed for a private event.
Spent the extra time looking for this place, and never found it. Don’t use their address.
You can not go wrong with the Gand Lobby, well appointed rooms, hot breakfast, and 5:30 kickbacks. It’s walkable to plenty amenities. We will forever stay here when passing through Flagstaff.
Entering into the Park was a pleasant change from the dry desert, due to its pine tree oasis. Hiking through the lava field really gives you perspective on the magnitude of this volcano.
This is truly a Natural Landmark! The entrance fee is a little steep, but for a once in a lifetime thing, I guess it’s worth it. Their Discovery Center was VERY well done. Be prepared for the high powered wind.
This is a fun distraction from the highway! This is great for all the family. Be prepared for the heat and sun.
This is definitely a “pet friendly hotel” (watch your step). The barks from the floor below us could be heard all night. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Train just outside the door runs through every 30 mins ( it will wake you up). The room felt worn and used. The staff seemed to be put out by our presence.
This is a gem in the desert! The Arch Trail is well worth the drive and is not that difficult.
We had such a fun time at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. Thanks for the wonderful trip!
This was better than expected! I frequently forgot that I was in the mountains,...until I looked to the side of the Dunes and see gorgeous snow capped mountains. Great stop for some fun, or a place to go camping.
