Very nice new hotel. Nice pool area with lifeguards. Several restaurants right nearby and wal mart in the next parking lot. Right off the highway. Nice.
Pretty expensive but you can easily spend half the day here. They have nice animal shows ( the bird and alligator shows were great). Kids will remember that visit for a life time. They have a giant tortoise that is 109 years old!
Just make sure to take your dramamin. Very cool road with rock tunnels. Takes a bit of time to travel it though only going 20mph the majority of the time.
We stayed in cabin 6. Slept our family of 6 comfortably. Nice breakfast in the morning and great little playground for the kids. Bought a few things in the gift shop. Beds were comfy and it was quiet.
A bit old and dusty but still interesting. Liked the old Catholic Church in town and the saloon. Got a nice taste of the old west.
Butterflies galore! And the cutest little quails running around. Also nice aquarium with the chance to touch live sea creatures. There was a very knowledgeable volunteer there also sharing fun facts with the kids. It is also in the same area as a GREAT playground! Lots of different play structures for all ages to enjoy.
Lovely park with really unique natural waterfalls. Outlook tower and lots of rocks to climb on. Kids loved it.
Nice little attraction. Old newspaper clippings and photos to tell you the story. Honor system with admission fee. Charming stop.
