One of the most expensive LQ's in the USA, I just hope you didn't book it at the corporate website because you can expect to pay 40% more for this already overpriced location. The bathroom is quite small and the shower tucked into the next unit as if to maximum space between rooms. The staff was super friendly and easy going but our air conditioner made such a racket! Even off it sounded like fireworks erupting outside but it was just the gurgling belly of indigestion from a "modern" HVAC unit.
Not the best LQ we stayed in. The creamer in the free breakfast wasn't good and made our stomachs queasy for the longest leg of our trip. The staff was nice but how odd that one has to drive in to the Cracker Barrel just to get to the hotel...
Amazing stop and the park reduced their pricing to "per person" versus per car. Bring a plastic sled and ride the sand...further up the road! First stop has a boardwalk mostly for disabled so don't be surprised if you see human tracks in the sand!
Welcome to the state that discriminates. I don't know why any transgendered person would want to use their restrooms -- absolutely filthy!
Couldn't get the dog to pose with the rock. It's in a residential area and the best picture might be taken in someone's driveway. Definitely best before sunset, when rocks are usually flaccid anyway.
Very dog friendly but a little worrisome with the transient population scavenging about. Fortunately they have a night patrolman on site.
This property should be a model for ALL other locations!! Excellent beds and queen sized! Super pet friendly and nonsmoking. Parking was easy for trailers and they even offer waffles in the shape of the State of Texas!
More like a Motel 6 but scarier location. We booked from LQ and missed the other reviews. Staff is nice but the rooms likely require a black light inspection before jumping into bed. No place to walk pets as it's mostly concrete. Gave two stars for the staff.
