Nice condos. Pretty spacious. Water is a nice blue and clear. You can even spot stingrays swimming in the late evening or if you walk on the pier during the day. There’s also a splash pad area next to the pool for the kids. Only negative thing I have to say is that the elevators take FOREVER!!
I checked google maps and saw a bunch of comments on how the highway is covered in dirt now. Might not be worth the trip anymore.
Mosquito repellent is a must. I thought mosquitos were bad where I’m from. It’s like when you hit a beehive and get attacked by bees, that’s how bad it was. The beach itself was incredible. I went right when the sun was rising. Just beautiful. Wish I could’ve spent more time there.
Absolutely loved this hotel! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Never stayed at a hotel where they open the door for you every time. Can’t access elevators without a room key which made me feel safe. Super convenient that there is a public parking lot right next to the hotel. Parking with the hotel there is a fee and public parking is cheaper and you can come and go as much as you’d like. I definitely would stay here again!
Nice hotel. Valet parking only and it’s like $35. Parking is not easy to find so I opted to pay it. Bourbon Street is right around the corner soon as you walk out the hotel. Just watch out for horse poop.
Amazing experience. Parking will be tough (depending on when you visit). Bring paint cans if you want to leave your mark. Wish I had known. Climbing could be difficult, the easiest path to the very top is the far right by the fence.
Only the bottom half was up. Looks like the top is still being repaired. Pretty bummed not being able to see the full thing but I know it would've been amazing.
Awesome place! The guy there was super cool too. You also can take memorable photo for $15 in "lost Vegas" which I regret not doing. There are a lot of cool tshirts and weapons as well. If you're a zombie fanatic, it's a must stop.
It's not there anymore. Looks like they tore it down and maybe rebuilding the hotel. Really bummed (pun intended lol) I didn't get a chance for a photo op.
Really nice and they have the famous shark tank which is awesome! I give it four stars because the room didn't have a fridge, microwave or coffee pot. If you want them you have to pay additional fees. They also ran out of microwaves so we weren't able to get it anyway. Another thing was there were not many channels to choose from on the television, even though you shouldn't be in the room while in Vegas lol. I'd still recommend this place.
