We stayed at Santa Fe KOA one night as we were traveling through town. It is located just 8 min. From Santa Fe Plaza which is rich with local artist, plenty of shops & places to eat. We cannot say enough about the excellent customer service we were welcomed with. Upon arriving at the park it was clean & well organized, Shelby was very friendly & welcoming, she checked us in, Jerad escorted us to the dump station & then to our camp site. (Most RV sites have full hook ups just not our first site). Our reserved campsite was too narrow for our RV pop-out so Jerad quickly assisted with relocating us to a new site.
There was no cell service or internet but again we were quickly assisted with connecting us to the parks WiFi. We would highly recommend a stay here if coming to the area.
We stayed here for two days on our travels. Upon entering the gates the RV park is clean & well groomed. Everyone was friendly & so accommodating when we requested to stay an extra day with only having one night reservations. We could not have had a better site, backed up to Lake Grapevine with a nice, wide cement pad, newer picnic table, newer, convenient hookups.
We road our bikes around the park & every area was clean & well groomed. The RV park is also close to Starbucks & one of the best barbecue restaurants Barkley’s BBQ.
There is a general store on site again friendly staff, paddle board, kayak, bikes, golf cart rentals and the RV park has its own boat launch. I highly recommend a stay hear the next time you are near or come stay for the weekend.
We arrived late and left early but the appearance of the RV park was clean and easy off and on the highway. The parking spots were wide and easy to pull in and out of. The Park had nice shade trees and a great breeze in the evening. Our envelope was waiting for us at late check-in. I would highly recommend a stay.
