I would avoid this site at all costs.
Half of the spots are rented to full-timers, including a bunch of 20-somethings using an RV as a pot-smoking crashpad (you can smell it). Not a mask in sight, anywhere. The road noise is excessive, and the wifi is very spotty. When you check in, you're told to "go pick a spot", from a selection of spots that are literally right on top of each other. So despite a full section of open spots, they insist on cramming folks into here one on top of another in a very dense area.
We cannot say enough about what a true oasis this spot is. After a long day of driving you are met with acres of green landscape, a pond, and well-tended lawns. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful,m and work hard to make sure you have everything you need - from extra hookup support to a campfire, or even a steak (true Nebraska steaks- so tender!). We will be back!
4 stars for the location and grounds, which are gorgeous. We loved access to the river and the layout of the grounds - you knew others were there but you weren't on top of each other. The female host, however, rules the place like a dictator. Her rules, her way. And it ruins the whole chill and laid back vibe. 2 words of warning - 1) if you are over 40' combined of truck and rig - some spots and turns will be VERY tight. Getting out of the campground. The hairpin turn out of the resort for 50 East is a white-knuckler for sure. 2) zero cell reception - for any carrier. But hey....you didn't get out here to get online. :)
Super clean, really well-maintained, professionally run. Great selection of pull-thrus and backups. Modern hookups. Quiet and restful. Highly recommended.
Great travel stop. Friendly hosts. A bit rustic, but also quiet and peaceful. Great full-service hookups.
