A little too spicy for the Mrs (she tried the jerk chicken) but I have some lunch for tomorrow now :)
The Oxtail with red beans and rice was very good.
Got a chance to say hello to Marla as she made it a point to stop by each table and talk to the customers, nice touch! And I failed to catch the waiters name that was from Dubai but he really seemed to know his stuff about the food...I wish he'd have been our server as we may have avoided the too spicy for the Mrs choice she made.
We'll be back!

Another TripleD stop for us....
Stopped by for a bite and the Meatball Sandwich was TASTY! The Mrs got the Spaghetti and it was excellent as well! Took home the extra Cheese Bread and Onion Rings cause we were just plain stuffed.

We stopped in back in '12...may have been my first TripleD covered resturant...WoodFired Prime Rib was fantastic! The first bite kinda hit me out of left field though as I had never tasted prime rib done that way...by the end of the meal if I hadn't been so stuffed I'd have ordered another one!
When we were trying to find the place we too thought we had gotten lost...but since being to numerous TripleD alumni establishment we've come to expect these little gems to be tucked away in what some would consider "iffy" neighborhoods. Each and everyone (including The Iron Barley) have had fantastic food that were worth searching out!

Made a trip out to Cali to get a frame for a 65 Merc we're working on and....
OMG! Amazing Spaghetti with the Huge Meatball....get it "Baked" for the extra 3 bucks, you won't regret it.
The first trip through the Mrs got the Chicken Parmesan, delicious as well.
We liked it so much that we stopped back again on our way back home. The second time the Mrs had the Lasagna....it must've been good as she didn't even offer to share!
The waiters and managers were all great as well.
Not sure when we'd ever get back out this way but if and when we do you can be sure we'll stop by again!

I had the Whiskey Glazed Chicken Breasts...amazing flavor!
Very cool decor in the place as well. Pricing ranges from moderate to expensive dependent upon what you order.
The waitresses were very attentive, keeping my soda full is a pet peeve of mine.

RIP Jose...we miss you!
Once again...a classic TripleD establishment...you pull up thinking "WTF?? Are we gonna go in?" And once you do you are amazed...the food and staff were just plain fantastic! Jose was there himself and we mentioned we'd seen him on DDD, he was very appreciative.
I had A Taste of Cuba because I couldn't decide on just one item :) The Mrs got the Pulled Pork Sandwich as she's a bit of a finicky eater and is abit more cautious than I tend to be....everything was fantastic!! Even got her to try a little of the Ropa Vieja :)

Stopped by the Paradise Rd location while in town...another TripleD spot for me :)
Very tasty pizza, crust was on the thicker chewy side, which I don't mind. We had the Rebel pizza, a half sheet, that the two of us could not finish.
Typical Triple D spot, small facilities and BIG on the flavor.
The Rebel:
PEPPERONI, IN-HOUSE ITALIAN SAUSAGE, HAM, SALAMI, MARINATED TOMATO, FRESH BASIL, RED SAUCE, MOZZARELLA

With the exception of the 15.00 parking lot fee and the couple of bucks they charge to go to the end of the pier it's pretty cool.
They should give you discount coupons to use at the Tiki Bar at least.
We always stop by though and if there's some surfers out that's pretty cool too.
