Decided to check this place out after seeing it the previous trip down that way...glad we did! Very cool "Jetsons" feel to the whole place! We'll be back when we plan on spending more time in the area!
I like flying into SFB...easy to navigate and friendly staff.
Amazing food and people here...this is a must stop if in the area. Our first taste of Vietnamese food was awesome here!
The Fall Roll appetizers were delicious...Pho soup was amazing (Rare Beef Eye Round and Meatballs)....Sauteed Cube Beef "Shaking Beef Rice Platter was fantastic as well and something that the "picky eater" (the Mrs) enjoyed.
Diners Drive-Ins and Dives sent us!
Stopped in the new location on our last trip up and the new place is pretty cool.
We sat outside as the weather was beautiful.
The service and the food were great...I ordered the Flapper and Fruit (which was amazing) and the Mrs ordered the Breakfast Biscuit and it looked very tasty as well!
Got in some LiveFire and some simulator range time before leaving for home. Well run range...I hope that the recent news out of Gander Mountain won't effect this location as the loss of such a great facility would be a shame
Stopped back by before the "big" move coming up. Love the little place with a big name!
Flappers were as good as ever! The staff was friendly and cheerful as ever and looking forward to the bigger facility.
Prairie Dogs....
Well, the location the show aired from on Lake St. was closed and Google directed us to Riverside Ave...they've teamed up with the Viking Bar.
Having read a bunch of the reviews that originated from the original location I was a bit disappointed with the results.
First let me say that the gentleman who was tending the bar was very helpful and friendly but having to walk up to the bar getting in and out of the tiny table/booth was a pain....they were out of the Italian Sausage for the Jimmy Two Times combo I was looking forward to having. At the suggestion of the bar tender I went with a Polish Sausage substitution and it was actually pretty good and suggested adding it to the menu. At 15.00 it was a little pricey but ya only go around once.
The Chili Cheese Tots and the Chili Dog version that Terri had were good as well but with a drink each and a tip tossed in I was north of 50 bucks....a little steep to plan a return trip for me.
One of our favorite places to stay when we're in the Cities.
Very courteous staff, clean rooms, and accessibility to and from the highways is easy.
1829 Riverside is the new address
Sharing the building with the Viking Bar.
We had a great time on the African Queen, as a fan of old movies the whole experience was a real treat. The Captain and his mate were very entertaining and informative guides...the trivia they have about the boat and the movie add to the uniqueness of this cruise.
Very cool!
