This campground is very nicely maintained and clean. The beach areas are very nice, and the playground is fun for the kids. The bathrooms were in good order the entire time, morning, noon and night, although there are not many bathrooms. We were fairly close to them, but it was still a slight walk.

Some of the sites are shaded, but some are full sun, so be prepared to provide your own shade with an awning or canopy.

I camped here with my family in May 2014. It was a beautiful retreat from everyday life. There is ample tree coverage on the sites providing shade even in the hot GA sun. The beach was a quick walk around the lake, and it was full of families having fun and making memories with their kids.

The bathrooms were sufficient. By the end of each evening, they needed to be cleaned, but no one showed up to clean them until the morning.

Anna Ruby Falls is a quick drive up the mountain and then a short hike. It took about an hour to an hour and a half, including the driving. This is a great place to snap pictures as there are more shades of green represented in amongst the rocks and water than I have ever seen.
