Stayed 1 night while passing thru on a road trip. As expected it was a sea of RVs, but Clean and relatively quiet and only 15 min by bike to city center. Right on the water with access. Great for 1 night, but not our idea of camping.
Stayed 1 night while passing thru on a road trip. Amazing location. Friendly owners. Cool mine. Clean, quite, relaxing. Recommended!
Disappointed to find this was a prairie campground, meaning no trees or privacy. Location was ok, just off the lake (no access) and central to the park. Cut our 4 days to 2 and went to Grand Tetons NP and found a much better site.
Awesome place. Large sites spread out over a vast area - not just rows of RVs. Great pool, convenient to Rushmore and the rest of the Black Hills sites.
Not a bad campground. Small, clean, and quiet. About 15 min from downtown Madison. A few sketchy tenters, but no problems. We had a small trailer, but there were full size rigs there too.
Campground was very surprising in a good way. Sites on the 300 loop are large, the place is quiet, and decent bike paths. Ice and firewood very convenient, but bathrooms and showers are not. And about an hour outside of Chicago. Great stay.
