It is hard to park and take a picture in front of this monument. In this small town, they have a Bentley dealership next to the Wal-Mart. Very interesting! It was a cute photo op...while cars zoomed by!
Can I say freakin' awesome! It was freakin' awesome! We were upgraded from the Little mermaid rooms to a Cars Suite. The little mermaid rooms were just like Pop Century rooms, which was fine with us. The Cars Suite rocked! Two bathrooms and three beds! It was awesome! The Cars Alley is so awesome. Disney did better than awesome! I think my only little negatives I found: the beds are always rock hard in Disney resorts and the pools have way too much chlorine. So much chlorine, I can't drive after being in the pool. Otherwise, with a splash pad, 3 pools and tons to look at, it is worth the stay.
I have always raved about this hotel in past reviews and this was my third stay at this hotel. I still love this hotel, but...the wifi was awful this time. I mean really awful. I learned by the end of the stay that you must reauthorize the wifi every time your device goes to sleep. That is not like other hotels. Otherwise, I love the location, maid service, night security, pool and just the place altogether. We will return, but I am hoping the wifi will improve.
This is a overnight stay place or a business traveler hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wifi was AWESOME. But...the breakfast was awful compared to other Residence Inns, the gym equipment is falling apart and there is nothing around here. I mean nothing. No CVS, the food choices were limited and the location to anything was no man's land. This is just not the hotel for a conference person or tourist.
I didn't like Ed's. Honestly, having someone yell and curse at you is not the place for me. It was clean, but the servers dance on the table. No thanks. I couldn't wait to get out of there with my 2 year old. If that is your sort of thing, go for it!
I liked this place! It comes off as dirty or disorganized, but it is a good place to stay. Our keys didn't work and they replaced them. The internet signal is strong. We ran out of toilet paper and they got us a roll in five minutes. The AC wasn't strong enough and they replaced it in less than an hour. The staff was friendly and kind, separate from the restaurant. I do have to say the inside pool could be a bit bigger and I did find someone's weave in the pool, but the outside pool is clean and clear. Not to mention, the beach is right outside. The only shocking thing was the hotel guests, which were very interesting. With shirts on like "B**ch 1 and B**ch 2! " Umm...I kinda of wanted a hotel safe in my room. Otherwise, it is all about the beach and we enjoyed it. We liked it!
This mall is a dying breed, but it has one important store...Dillard's clearance center. Which means really nice clothes for really cheap prices. This is a real outlet mall that has low prices, so check it out. I wish more retail stores had a clearance center, instead of reselling their items to discount stores, outlets or dollar stores. Just have a clearance center. If you build it, people will come!
O.k. So the gay dolphin, is not really a gay dolphin, but a gift shop. Let me say, if you are looking for a novelty, they have it here. From license plates with your name on it to colored seashells to Halloween hermit crabs. Even voodoo dolls for luck. They have it all. I didn't buy a thing, but enjoyed browsing this place and would do it again. Make a stop here. If you like Spencer's and Hot Topic in the mall, this is a step above...beach style.
