Nice but if you have mobility issues would be hard to walk around your spot lots and lots of rocks. One suggestion BLM NEEDS TO PUT A REFLECTOR OR SOMETHING TO MARK THE TRN OFF TO THE ROAD We came in the dark and passed it twice even with our google maps VERY HARD TO SEE EASY SPOT SUPER QUIET

An amazing spot we found that was recommended to us when you come here GPS will only take you to the road so don’t come in at night because it’s very hard to find a good spot we got lucky you take the road between the Choctaw Travel center and Casino go down it’s probably 2 miles you’ll see a small boat ramp on the right and on the left you’ll see a dumpster keep going around you’ll see turn off‘s find you turn off and then just keep driving around you’ll see the others open clearings with campfire rings everything already set up beautiful area we found a spot that just steps to the water. The only noise we heard was you can hear the night at night you can hear the train in the distance For food access town is about I don’t know 30 minutes round-trip To Pruitts grocery store you don’t want to go to Walmart because Walmart’s not a super Walmart it doesn’t have fresh meat or veggies Local police patrol once a day

Only a few others here so very quiet has bathrooms and showers(cold water only)

Quiet place to rest explore the history of Furnace.

Very peaceful and quiet which is very surprising so many trucks come through love the display ad access to power if you need it and free wifi

lots and lots of trucks but restrooms are decent and there is power supply under the picnic tables to plug up and charge

County needs to clean up a bit you can tell it’s a weekend party spot for teenagers cleaned up a bag of beer cans and other trash from the site has a 7 day limit to stay

Love it here they have even set out ports potty’s that they clean once a week plus trash pick up they’ve have really down a lot since March

There is a sign near the entrance that says “no Parking or camping beyond this point” and that’s flat out a lie… it only applies to the short distance of private property. Go past turn left go up and over the canyon about 5 miles to designated spots
