Lexington's best dive bar. They get a pretty wide range of musical acts coming through and the stage area isn't very big so you definitely feel like part of the band. Grab a beer, play some pool, dance or mosh, then drink some more. Great place any night of the week.
As someone who went to EKU for 6 years I can honestly say this is the best bar in Richmond. They always have the best traveling musicians and friendly staff. You'll even run into some of your professors who have had a little too much drink and maybe you can persuade them to forgive that assignment you forgot to turn in. Even the bartenders come right back and hang out here on nights they're not working.
This was the first food place I was introduced to after moving to Lexington and has since become a weekly ritual. It may not look like much from the outside but the food is consistently amazing and affordable.
