If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, perhaps buy an admission to walk on the bridge. We decided it wasn’t worth paying $35 x 4 to see the gorge from the bridge. Seems very tourist trappy, so we saved our money for another tank of gas on our awesome Colorado road trip and headed over to Garden of the Gods, which is free. I noticed a man pushing his elderly father on a wheelchair, and that made me think how wonderful something like this would be for someone who wasn’t as abled. Wing able to see something like that usually requires a big hike. Just not on our wave length for this trip.
Amazing experience for my husband and I and our two kids. Playground, pool, laundry, shower, bathrooms. We tent camped by the Arkansas River. Friendly folks down there.
