The pictures provided to the hotel justice. It was clean and inviting. The two ladies working the front desk impressed me while I wait for my turn at check-in. One was helping a customer with reservations over the phone, and the other was helping an older guests with locations of services in town. Check in was quick, as was check out. The breakfast provided was delicious. The arcade, the pool, and the hot tub were all an extra added touch. I would highly recommend it!
The stairs are a little intimidating from the bottom looking up. But when she get to the top the view, combined with your feeling of accomplishment, is well worth the effort. If you are frightened by Heights at all, be warned, you made feel a little unsteady at the top.
Neat park. It was cool & cloudy the day we stopped. First time at Lake Michigan, quite breathtaking.
