Along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, this popular 22 acre park is a great place for swimming, sunbathing and picnicking. In addition to the unique tunnel through a dune, this park has a children's playground complete with a dune climb and a dune stairway with scenic views of Lake Michigan. Open April 1 through October 31 from 7 am - 10 pm. Motor vehicle parking fees are in effect from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Tunnel Park is one of the most popular attractions in Holland and is perfect for spending a day outdoors. The park has an extensive playground and sand volleyball courts. The sand dunes make it ideal for relaxing and soaking up the sun.
You will find dune climbs, a dune slide, and plenty of picnic areas. The best time to visit Tunnel Park is during the summer when the weather is warm and the sun is out.

Great Family Beach! Adults & kids alike get excited to walk through the tunnel carved through the dunes leading to the beautiful Lake Michigan view. Nice playground area with a dune area for kids to climb and run down, volleyball courts and areas for picnics and cookouts. No concession stand, but they have vending machines and nice bathrooms and wash-off areas.
Neat park. It was cool & cloudy the day we stopped. First time at Lake Michigan, quite breathtaking.
Awesome park. Cool little playground then we climbed steps to get to the beach. Beach was very clean but small. We went early in the morning so it wasn't crowded but could see it getting crowded later on the day. Took the tunnel to get back out to our car and they had restrooms with outdoor shower to rinse off. Very nice would recommend.
